Meet more friends for life!

Going to classes, hitting the books, and keeping up with your
assignments isn't all there is to your university experience.
In fact, what you do outside of the classroom, the
lab, and the library can have a huge effect on how well you do
inside. Studies show that the best way to
succeed in that first year of university is to make a real connection
with other people on campus - with fellow students, roommates,
or university staff. And that's easy! Choose from the dozens of
activities and get involved!
A post secondary experience is a time to explore, experience,
and engage. What will you choose to do with your time here?
- Be involved in community projects;
- Join the Praxis group - a Service Learning opportunity open
to all Students at the U of M. Discuss local and world issues
and be involved with programs inspired by YOU the students;
- Take a Study service tour to Bangladesh for 5 weeks of your
summer;
- Gain leadership experience;
- Volunteer for campus events;
- Be a mentor to other students through ICS or U1;
- Participate in the Passport
to Success.
