Changes to the Volunteer Note Taker System!
The Disability Services Volunteer Notetaker program is now using WebCT
in order to cut down on paper, costs, and volunteer time in the photocopier lines!!!
Students who require VNTs will now be able to access their notes 24/7 on WebCT. For access, you need to tell us what your U of M user ID is (more information on this is available at the DS front desk). Please call, visit, or e-mail to give us your user ID .
Instead of photocopying their notes, volunteers will simply go to any scanning station on campus (or use one off campus) and e-mail the document to dsvnts@gmail.com . Volunteers who type their notes can skip the scanning process and simply e-mail their notes to the same address.
Contact DS at 474-6213 or dsvnts@gmail.com for more information or to volunteer.
Alternate Format TextBooks
For students requiring alternate formatted text books please make sure you submit a course list to Roslyn as soon as possible. Remember it takes several months to the get them.
