Distance and Online
Education
Distance and Online Education allows students to complete degree credit courses without attending scheduled classes on campus. Over 120 degree credit courses are offered from 11 faculties, as well as the following programs: Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Arts in Geography, Bachelor of Social Work, Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Education, and Baccalaureate Program for Registered Nurses.
Students enroll in distance courses for a variety of reasons which include: flexible hours for work and study, the convenience of studying at home, living at a geographic distance from the UM, or the ability to study year round. Join the over 4,000 students who complete courses offered by Distance and Online Education each year.
