The Outreach program is the College’s main method for reaching out to nurses who work in specific sector settings. Our Outreach consultants are available to RNs, RPNs and NPs as a resource to assist them in their understanding of how College documents support the work of nurses in their practice setting.

Consultants answer questions from nurses by phone or email, and they are also available on request to facilitate presentations in person or via teleconference. To request a consultation from an Outreach Consultant, use the Practice Consultation form.

Advisory Groups

Our Outreach consultants are supported in their work by Advisory Groups, which meet regularly to share information on nursing trends and issues related to College practice documents. These groups, which are made up of nurses practising in that specific sector, also allow the College to share knowledge with nurses working in the specific practice sectors.
