Ian Adam

Ian Adam is a prairie native, from Cabri, Saskatchewan, and later Ponoka, Alberta. He received a B.A. Honours from the University of Alberta in 1955, and did post-graduate study at the University of London. He taught at the University of Calgary, specializing in Victorian and later Commonwealth and Western Canadian literature and poetry. He was an associate editor of Edge 1964-1969, edited Ariel 1980-1990, and was on the executive of the Writers' Guild of Alberta 1983-1984. Now he is a full time writer.
