Anne Campbell was born in the north of Saskatchewan. She studied drama at the Conservatory, University of Regina, and is a museum and library worker. In addition to poetry, she writes short fiction and nonfiction, and works with a composer on musical pieces. She is active as a reader and writing workshop presenter; she has supported writing locally and nationally by service to writing organizations.
