 Sleeping sylphs stir by Dawn
Stretch their limbs through hill and vale
with fingers light entwining land and sea
as though unwilling to take leave
 for fear of no return
 Their bodies undulate
Caress the bed on which they lie
till lifted high by light of day
 they wait unseen -
the veil of night their herald
