Strategic | Strategic responsibility for the GC2.0 Tools across the GC
GCpedia users | Browsers | Browsers are public servants who are viewing GCpedia, maybe because they were sent a link to an article or because they are maintaining a "watch list" on certain articles that interest them, so that they can keep current on a particular topic. |
Contributors | Contributors share their knowledge and ideas with other public servants for the greater good. Contributors may write or edit text, add links, create tables, or add illustrations; or they may trim down lengthy texts or correct mistakes.
Maintainers | Maintainers work "behind the scenes" to keep GCpedia organized and usable. Maintainers direct the growth of our shared space with prudent "gardening" (e.g., fixing dead Internet links, ensuring that internal links and re-directs work well, etc) and by using sound information management techniques that make it easier to navigate around GCpedia.
Governance and Support | Chief Information Officer Council (CIOC) | CIOC has taken on the role of cost-sharing and oversight of the GC2.0 Tools for the fiscal year 2013/14. |
GC2.0 management board | (No longer operational) The Board provided business leadership and funding for the development and operation of GC2.0 Tools.
Shared Services Canada | Hosts GCpedia on mid-range server |
