Common service provider
As the common service provider of real property and office accommodation for the Government of Canada, the Real Property Branch provides strategic management of one of Canada's largest portfolios. Real Property Branch coordinates the accommodation needs of approximately 105 federal departments and agencies.
Real property professionals
We are real property professionals specializing in office accommodation, architecture, engineering, real estate and asset and facility management. We are involved in all aspects of real property, from initial investment strategies, the construction and leasing of facilities, to the maintenance, repair and disposal of real property assets.
Setting standards
We set and implement real property standards for federal departments, agencies and industry. These standards support the sustainable design, construction and renovation of office buildings, cost-effective and timely fit-up of accommodation, uniformity in the delivery of appraisal services and the development of construction project specifications reflecting current practices and technology.
