Government of Canada to participate in annual Doors Open Ottawa event

The City of Ottawa is unlocking the doors to more than 130 of the region's most architecturally interesting and historically significant buildings on Saturday, June 4, and Sunday, June 5, through its annual Doors Open Ottawa event.

This year, the public has the opportunity to visit the interior of the following six federally owned buildings and to learn all about their history, architecture and function:

  • Lester B. Pearson Building—125 Sussex Drive (June 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
  • National Library and Public Archives building—395 Wellington Street (June 4 and 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
  • Connaught Building—555 MacKenzie Avenue (June 4 and 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
  • Supreme Court of Canada building—301 Wellington Street (June 4 and 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
  • Wellington Building—180 Wellington Street (June 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
  • Sir John A. Macdonald Building—144 Wellington Street (June 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
