Changes to Acquisitions under the Imaging Hardware Standing Offer, the Managed Print Services Supply Arrangement and the Document Scanners Standing Offer

Following the coming into effect of Order in Council 2015-1071 under the Shared Services Canada Act, responsibility for certain information technology (IT) procurements and related instruments previously managed by Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) will be transferred to Shared Services Canada (SSC), effective September 1, 2015. This change will affect which and how departments and agencies acquire goods and services related to IT infrastructure.

The Imaging Hardware Standing Offer, the Managed Print Services Supply Arrangement and the Document Scanners Standing Offer have been transferred from PWGSC to SSC and sole contracting authority will rest with SSC.

As a result of these changes, partners and clients of SSC must now place all orders via SSC.
