Export Declaration
(CAED)

Statistics Canada and Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) launched the national implementation of the Canadian Automated Export Declaration (CAED) program, which gives registered exporters and agents the opportunity to report goods electronically to the Federal Government of Canada.

This program was launched on January 1st, 1998, and is a fast, inexpensive and easy way of reporting your exported goods.

CAED 2008 version 8.00 was released the week of January 7th-11th, 2008.

It is important to note that 8.00 is the only acceptable version of CAED.

CAED participants may upgrade to CAED 2008 version 8.00 by clicking on the CAED software page and then selecting the “CAED Software 2008 version 8.00” link.

To view a list of the changes to CAED 2008 version 8.00, click on the Bulletin board page and then select the link “Jan. 2008 – Release of CAED 2008 version 8.00 software”.

All NT users must contact the CAED helpline prior to downloading the software.

CAED 2008 is now available
