Canada's newest mineralogical museum opened 2002 in Chicoutimi, Québec. This museum houses the Corneau Mineral Collection, which was donated to the museum by Mario Corneau. Minerals in the collection are from Québec and include well crystallized cubanite, grossular, epidote, vesuvianite, analcime, almandine, among others. The website includes photos and geological maps showing the areas where the province's fine mineral occur.
