Doll-Soul

by Catherine Graham

Summer Auction, Southampton.

Mr. Quicktongue holds her.
Daddy’s finger. Mine.

Sleeping eyes, thicker curls.
Red crayola lips and nails.

XXXXXForgotten, find her.
Lift her, gently.
Skin, lime-speckled.
Caked-eyes, empty.
