September 1994 The theme of this issue is Sports & Leisure. You can read articles on the self-reflective nature of hiking, common misconceptions about physical education, and an in depth look into fencing. This month's Departments section includes (among other things) a modernist poem from Vienna, a debate about gays on TV, and the first part of Andrew Shaindlin's travel journal on a trip to the D-Day ceremonies in the UK.

May 1994 The theme of this issue is Favourite Authors. You can read an article on Camille Paglia, or various Canadian Authors. Alexander Varty has also contributed three reviews of recently published books. Among this month's Departments is Kent Barrett's ever popular photography column, a wide number of movie and music reviews, a Latin Quarter article from Mexico and an article about British Columbian wines. Also this month, we debut our new Movies column.

April 1994 This month, we bring you an issue devoted to Travel! Ken Eisner has also written a facinating article about the Hawaii Pub Scene, and Paul Gribble recounts his 3000 km train trip across Canada. February 1994 The theme of this issue is TV and Film. You can read articles on the Canadian Film Industry, Interactive TV, and Generation X. This month's departments section includes (amongst other things) an article about South African wines, an exhibition of Nude Photographs and a wonderful short story entitled Cyclops.

January 1994 This month's History issue features a fantastic article by Jon Gould entitled "Auschwitz: Confronting the Horror," as well as articles about the histories of Washington D.C., Winnipeg and Vienna. In the Departments section, articles on NAFTA, the contreversial Homolka-Teale case in Canada, and more.

December 1993 The theme of this issue is What's News To You?.
