DRUNK ON CHOCOLATE

Drunk on chocolate and sweetly placed kisses,
I lose myself in the shell of your ear,
find the secret spot on your neck that melts you,
linger there for a small eternity.

It is the night of chocolate and stars.
We have undressed, laughing our way
all the way to bed, bringing another love
to sweetly interpose between us.

Naked, lying on your back,
you place small squares of dark bitter chocolate
over your nipples, across your navel.
I hover over you and take them into my mouth,
devour them, let them melt into me.

I gently press a square of milk chocolate into your mouth,
you hold it in your teeth, and we tangle
in the sweetest of kisses, wrestle
like amorous monkeys. It is the night
of chocolate and stars, of the fullness of desire.

We are children making love, we are lovers
acting like children. We take a substance
we both love and pour it through one another.
I am intoxicated, drunk
on chocolate, you, and sweet desire.
