NACI Recommendations

The National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI) provides the Public Health Agency of Canada with ongoing medical, scientific, and public health advice regarding vaccines approved for use in humans in Canada and recommendations for immunization.

Provincial/Territorial Immunization Programs

Publicly-funded immunization schedules may vary from province or territory. Individuals are encouraged to talk to their paediatrician, family physician, public health nurse or local health unit about recommended immunizations.

• Routine Schedule for Infants and Children - including existing special immunization projects
• High Risk Groups - programs available to high risk groups, by province/territory
• Public funding for Annual Influenza Vaccination

Information on immunization programs was collected by the Canadian Nursing Coalition on Immunization (CNCI). PHAC and the CNCI have worked together since July 2004 to develop this web-enabled tool containing the latest provincial/territorial program information
