Performance Audits

Performance audits are assessments of the activities of an organization to see if the resources are being managed with due regard for economy, efficiency and effectiveness and to ensure that accountability requirements are being reasonably met.

Continuous Audits

Continuous auditing and monitoring ensures that the Agency complies with the federal government policies, has the necessary controls in place and provides reliable and relevant information for accountability purposes.

The Office of the Auditor General (OAG) audits federal government operations and provides Parliament with independent information, advice and assurance to help hold the government to account for its stewardship of public funds.
