Birders are wondering about the fate of a tiny Californian hummingbird, last seen on Nov. 22 in Montmagny, Que. It somehow survived a transcontinental voyage, to pop up at a bird feeder in eastern Quebec. The mystery deepened a few days ago when the chubby little Anna's Hummingbird disappeared without leaving an iridescent green feather behind. (CP Photo/Samuel Belleau)
