Question: What are the services for persons with mobility Impairments?
Answer:

The UQAM Campus is designed to facilitate access for persons with mobility impairments. There are two entrances to the Symposium, the Stationnement Saint-Urbain (parking lot) and the President Kennedy pavilion (PK).

The President Kennedy pavilion (PK) is located at 201 President Kennedy Avenue. You take an elevator to the third floor and follow the signs to the Symposium.

The parking lot closest Symposium is the Stationnement Saint-Urbain. The entrance is located at 2020 Saint-Urbain Street. Elevators give access to the Sciences biologiques pavilion (SB). Choose the metro level and follow the signs to the conference.

Anyone requiring assistance to go from one location to another can use the campus safe walk escort service. Contact the Service de la prévention et de la sécurité (prevention and security service) at 987-3101.

Question: Where are the banking services ?
Answer:

A Laurentian Bank of Canada automated teller machine is located on the ground floor of the President Kennedy pavilion (PK). There are Caisses populaires Desjardins ATMs on campus in the Hubert-Aquin pavilion (A) (metro level), the Sciences de la gestion pavilion (R) (Sainte-Catherine Street entrance) and the Education pavilion (N) (Saint-Denis Street entrance). A National Bank of Canada ATM is located in the Berri-UQAM metro station, near the metro ticket booths. Another ATM is located in the J.-A. DeSève pavilion (DS) (metro level).

Question: Is there parking close by ?
Answer:

The parking lot closest to the Symposium is the Stationnement Saint-Urbain, located at 2020 Saint-Urbain Street. Two other parking lots are at your disposal on the UQAM campus: the Sanguinet, located at 1435 Sanguinet Street and the Christin, located at 335 Christin Street.

Question: Taxi, bus and metro ?
Answer:

UQAM is located in the downtown area, on the site of the Berri-UQAM metro station, so it is very easy to reach by public transit. All bus lines in the city are linked to one or more metro stations. The Place-des-Arts metro station is located close to the conference site (take the Jeanne-Mance exit, then the UQAM exit, to reach the conference site).
