             The CCA received a written response from the office of the Prime Minister.  In his letter, the Right                 Honourable Paul Martin emphasized his government's commitment to passing the federal budget,                   noting the valuable new funding for the Tomorrow Starts Today program.

  • CPC Leader Stephen Harper Responds to CCA 22/05 Advocacy Alert
    The Honourable Stephen Harper, in his response to CCA's May 6th letter, articulated the Conservative Party's support for Canada 's arts and culture community, explaining how his party would act, if it formed a government, to strengthen and expand the work of the arts and culture community in Canada.

              CCA has received a written response from the New Democratic Party's federal leader, Hon. Jack 

               Layton, which articulates his party's commitment to getting as much done in the House as currently

               possible; namely, the passing of the federal budget bill.
