2003 Chalmers Conference

The 2003 Chalmers Conference dealt with a variety of issues relating to the working environment of artists and cultural workers. Topics included "Creative Management" - a report on challenges facing professional management personnel in Canada's not-for-profit arts and heritage organizations, and practical recommendations to meet those challenges; taxation in the arts; and the presentation of a major study by the Cultural Human Resources Council on compensation in the arts.
