Who are we?
We are young conservatives.
We are in school, college, or university. We are activists who disagree with the tired old Left that we have too much of on campus. We want a strong economy so we can get jobs when school is done. We are against our scholarships being considered “taxable income”. We believe we can make Canada a better place through conservative policies like a freer market, and a made-in-Canada environmental protection plan, and lower taxes that will stimulate economic growth.
We are young professionals. We are labour workers. Some of us already have young families. We want to make sure our taxes are lower so our small businesses can survive, or so we can keep some of our hard-earned money for our kids' hockey or figure skating lessons.
We are idealists who believe in democracy and social justice. We understand that we can make a difference in the world only if our country is taken seriously, if our soldiers and peacekeepers are properly funded, and if our government stands behind its own citizens when they travel abroad.
We are young legislators. The Conservative Party of Canada has the youngest caucus in Canadian history. We are MPs who know what it is like to be a student, to be a young professional, to be a small business owner, because we were all those things not so long before we were elected.
We are the youth energizing the Conservative Party of Canada - we are CPC Energy.
