Black Tickle



Black Tickle was a most flourishing fishery establishment around 1800. Captain Robinson, sent to Sandwich Bay to investigate a dispute, reported upon his return that all the major fishing harbours, Islands of Ponds on which Black Tickle is situated being one of them, had a few men winter there to take care of the property and to trap furs.
