Dedicated to the settlers of both English and French ancestry, who came to the community in the 1880’s and to all others who made Cotham their home.

Cotham was named after a district near Bristol England.

Classes for Cotham School Division No. 158 began in a log granary in 1887. The original stone school was constructed on this site in 1889 with the aid of a grant form the North West Territories council. This building was replaced by a wooden structure in 1956.

The school was closed in 1967.
