Le Parisien

Le Parisien was built in 1905 by Dr. Elliot.  It was bought in 1981, renovated and run as a fine dining restaurant.  Today, it's owned by the same family that owns the Banbury house.  Unfortunately, it's no longer a restaurant because the chef left.  It's now an extension of the Banbury Bed and Breakfast.

This 90 year old structure was bought in 1981 from the Dureau family, then renovated and ran as a fine dining restaurant by Ernest and Rosemarie Boehme.  Le Parisien was recently purchased by the Beliveau family who continue its operation now as an addition to the Banbury Bed & Breakfast.  Extensive renovations have turned the second floor into two suites:  One front bridal suite which features a comfortable sun porch, Jacuzzi, and private bath and our back Bridal suite with a Jacuzzi and private bath.  Both suites have been restored to the traditional beauty of the past and are filled with antiques.
