often seen near streams, ponds, and by farms or bridges. The Phoebe is also a small bird. This bird, unlike the Chickadees and Finches, is only seen in the spring, summer and fall months. It flies to Mexico in the winter months to get away from the cold. The Phoebe tends to be 6 1/2 to 7 inches in height and its beak is all black. The Phoebe's call is a phoe-be or fi-bree sound, which is usually repeated three or four times.
