Aderson, Dr. George AllanAnderson, Dr. George Allan

George Allan Anderson was born in Owen Sound, Ontario on January 4, 1870. After graduating in medicine from Trinity College at the University of Toronto in 1901, Anderson moved to Calgary where he opened a private practice. Dr. Anderson married Mary I. Millard in 1904.

Anderson was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, the Alpine Club of Canada, the Canadian Club, Director of Calgary General Hospital and the YMCA; shareholder and Director of Western Canada College and member of the Senate for the University of Calgary. Anderson died in Calgary in 1941.
