Modern Jets
Since co-development in the 1970 with U.S. Lear of Challenger
600, Canadair, now part of the Bombardier Group of Companies, has been produced highly a
highly respected line of corporate business jets. From this line, the Regional Jet was
developed as a commuter airliner and is in use today with airlines worldwide.
The next generation of business jet, the Global Express,
is currently being developed by Canadair/Bombardier and is scheduled for certification in
1998.
