Bruno Bobak

As Canada's youngest official War Artist, Bruno Bobak was commissioned while serving in England in the Canadian Armed Forces with the Royal Canadian Engineers. After the war, Bobak returned to Canada and married official War Artist Molly Lamb. In 1947 the couple moved to Vancouver where Bruno taught at the Vancouver School of Art. After several visits abroad, both artists moved to Fredericton where Bruno became director of the Arts Centre at the University of New Brunswick.
