The Degroot barn is a good example of what a barn in the 1930s would have looked like. It holds many different types of farm equipment. There are many little tools, such as hoes or picks. A few old peices of machinery are also inside, including plows and machinery used for corn and wheat.

The barn is built just as one would have been built at the time, it has a very sturdy construction and contains two floors. The first floor, most importantly, contains an antique schoolbus One of the most popular artifacts that the museum currently holds.  The second floor is home to misceslaneous equipment and is used for storage.
