Inside
the Mainville house, there are many varieties of radios and radio parts. They have radios ranging from small compact
radios to large house models varying from Sono-Phonic to Atwater Kent. The radio parts kept in this building are such items as transponders and transmitters. There are
pictures of advertisements from Sears catalogues throughout the years for some of the radios on
display. It is amazing to see how far an invention such as a radio has come in a
reasonably short amount of time, from being powered by huge batteries to the radios we
have today that are compact and can be taken with you wherever you go. |
