These are all the common tools that any mechanic would have used in the 1930s. They include a multitude of wrenches, screw drivers and hammers. Once the mechanic found a problem with a certain piece of machinery,  he would have been able to use these tools, his expert knowledge, and of course his many skills, to fix almost any problem he encountered. He would have been able to contribute a lot to a community such as Cumberland .
