Bathroom

This was one of the first bathrooms in Sherbrooke. When John or Sarah requested a bath, the maids would need to heat the water in the kitchen which was located in the basement, carry the water up the narrow, winding back stairs to the bathroom. When the bath was finished, the tub would be emptied pail by pail, carried by the maids back down the stairs to the basement where it would be disposed of.
