Scrapbook
Directions:
- Find at least three newspaper or magazine
articles per week that relate to cultural
diversity. These articles do not have to be in
the newspaper that week, they may be from the
vertical files in the library.
- Have a scrapbook into which you paste the
articles each week.
- Identify the newspaper and the date.
- Give a summary and include your thoughts and
opinions about the article.
- Use the Critical Reading skills when looking at
the articles.
- Scrapbooks will be "spot checked"
periodically to make sure that students are
working on them. The scrapbooks will be handed
in, to be evaluated, at the end of the unit.
