Graphic Design Unit Overview and Key to Ontario Curriculum Guidelines
Ontario Curriculum Objectives Unit Outcomes Unit Assessment
"Develop a responsiveness to the dynamic processes of learning." Students will move towards self-motivated learning. Graphic Design Tracking Survey
"Develop resourcefulness, adaptibility, and creativity in learning and living." Students will express themselves in the creativity of graphic design. Assignment 1 gives the opportunity to brainstorm and be creative.
"Acquire the basic knowledge and skills needed to comprehend. . . ." Students will know the basic concepts and methods of graphic design. Assignment 3 gives students a chance to demonstrate their understanding of graphic design.
"Grow from the participation of others in the various forms of artistic expression." Students will work in groups to increase their experience of graphic design. Lesson 2 ends with a group collaboration as students exchange their work with each other for comment.
