when evaluating the success of this unit:
- Did students recognize the fact that they came
from an origin other than Canada? If you have any
Native students, they came from North
America/Turtle Island before it became Canada.
- Did students learn more about their own ancestry?
- Did I emphasize the importance of respect for
cultural diversity? For similarities between
cultures?
- Did I use the Internet so that students could
gain a familiarity with buttons, sites, and
information there?
- How can I improve this unit next time?
- Do students realize that differences in people
and their cultures are good and necessary as a
well-based foundation for teamwork?
