GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION:
Skookumchuck Reserve, British Columbia.
The Church of the Holy Cross is located between the high mountain ridges near the south end of the Lillooet River and the Lillooet Lake
(Rudi Danglemaier. Pioneer Buildings of British Columbia. p. 124).

DATE OF CONSTRUCTION:
1905 - 1906

ARCHITECT:
The architect is not known; however, there is French influence in the design.

CONTRACTOR:
The church was built by Native artisans under the direction of the Oblate Fathers (Rudi Danglemaier. Pioneer Buildings of British Columbia. p. 124).

OWNER OF THE BUILDING
  PAST: Unknown. However, the church was mostly likely owned by both the Oblate Fathers and the Native community.
  PRESENT: The current owner is unknown. However, the building is being used by members of the community and of Mount Currie.

USE OF THE BUILDING
  PAST: 1905-1906 Roman Catholic Church
1980's It was restored and has been holding services once a month, by a Father Bob Haggarty of Mount Currie
(Rudi Danglemier. Pioneer Buildings of British Columbia. p. 124).
  PRESENT: The church is still in use by the community of the Skookumchuck Reserve.
