CNR Railway Station - FORT LANGLEY, B.C.

Table of Contents
With the construction of a railway line in 1911 the Canadian Northern Railway (C.N.R.) became an active member of the Fort Langley community. Due to a growth in population and rail traffic, Canadian Northern built a station in 1915 using their 'third class' design at Fort Langley. Passenger service was offered at the station until 1980. The station is now owned by the City of Langley and in 1984 was declared a heritage site. Presently the station is shared by different organizations and people such as the Langley Heritage Society who have developed an entertaining and interactive display that is open to the public.
