Comparative Aerial Photography

More recent types of aerial images include large-format colour oblique photography, large format transparencies, false colour or colour infrared photos, and very low-level (1:3000) black and white photos. Most of these images are held by the National Air Photo Library, located only 1 km north of the campus.

Aerial photos, such as this 1987 view, can be compared to period photos or maps for analysis of landscape evolution.
