"Furs trapped or taken on Sundays or Saturdays had to be taken to the trade shop where just the same price was had for them, as was paid by the Indians....in trading goods. No money on those days.


There was a fixed rate or tariff on skins and furs and the business was conducted in a very regular and particular method."
