Diligent River Trackways

Trackways and Tail-drags

These footprints, discovered at Diligent River, Nova Scotia, have captured the attention and interest of local palaeontologists. There are at least four different styles of trackways, some with serpentine marks left by dragging tails ("tail drags"). Finding this many trackways in such a small area is truly exceptional. Even more amazing, however, is that one of the sets of footprints is the first of its kind ever found in the world!
