Winner of the National Hockey League's Rookie-of the Year Award announced last week was Glen Hall. Hall, goaltender with the Detroit Red Wings, was winner by a wide margin over runners up A. Hebenton of New York Rangers and Henri Richard of Montreal Canadians. |
A former star with the Humboldt Indians, Windsor Spitfires and Edmonton Fliers, Hall was earlier last week named to second NHL All Star team in goal. These honors bring Glen Hall $1,500 in cash awards from the NHL. |
