WINDSOR HOTEL OPENED
On Thursday morning the Humboldt Hotel Company Limited opened their new hotel, the Windsor, to the public. This house has been undoubtedly under construction for a considerable time and the large staff of workmen that have been constantly employed on it have been working every night for the last month in an endeavor to have it ready for occupation before cold weather sets in. The house is undoubtedly on of the best and most modern completed on the main line of the C. N. R. costing in the neighborhood of $25,000. It is heated throughout by steam and lighted by siche gas.

In the basement commodious sample rooms are fitted up, and also the laundry, liquor and fuel rooms.

The first floor is taken up by a 40x24 ft. dining room and kitchen, a large sitting room and the bar. The bar is one of the finest in the west, fitted up in the most up to date manner, with all the latest fixtures and is stocked with the, very best wines, liquors and cigars.

On the second floor, immediately at the top of the stairs is the public parlor, and to the right of it is a large and well fitted up writing room. The remainder of this floor and also the third floor is taken up with bed rooms which are all elegantly furnished.

The entire hotel throughout is well finished and is alike a credit to the village of Humboldt and to its proprietors.
