1930 - Kaisuke Hironaka came to Canada as an apprentice cook in 1918. [There is an historical error in this text panel, noted by Florence Senda (Hironaka), as Mr. Hironaka came to Canada to apprentice on his uncle’s farm and not as a cook.] He returned to Japan to marry in 1930. He returned immediately to Raymond and his wife followed in 1931. This photo shows the traditional Japanese wedding dress. |  |
