This is a copy of another photo Yoichi Hironaka sent to Japan in 1912, when he asked his family to find him a wife. Yoichi came to Canada in 1907. The marriage between him and Tsuki Kanehiro was arranged by their families. They exchanged photos, met for the first time on April 9, 1913, in Vancouver, and were married the next day. |  |
