Hoops were also used in other games. One such game was played to sharpen the shooting skills of the players. The hoop had seven coloured beads sewn into the centre and the object of the game was to see who could shoot the most beads out of the hoop without missing the hoop. Missing the hoop counted for nothing, but knocking out a coloured bead gave the shooter the value of the bead plus a chance to shoot again.
