Little remains of Louisbourg's other wrecks. The Capricieux and the Entreprenant are believed to be grounded side by side in a shallow area of the harbour, referred to as Barachois Cove.

The best time to visit this site is during a light southwest wind on sunny day, when visibility can exceed 20 meters: a strong northeast wind can make access impossible. Except for one large ballast mound, time has all but erased any trace of either ship's structure or other recognizable remains.

The five ships scuttled in the harbour entrance have all broken apart. Their limited remains are scattered over the harbour channel under 20 meters of water and are difficult to relocate on the shifting sand bottom.
