The Grand Trunk Pacific Railway Company developed a line of steamships to connect Seattle, Victoria and Vancouver to its rail terminus in Prince Rupert. Many passengers were welcomed at the Grand Trunk terminus in Victoria's Inner Harbour as they arrived on the company's Prince steamships. The company's most impressive vessels were the Prince George and the Prince Rupert.
