"The view from the entrance to the Gentian Garden looking down the Gentian Shrubbery and Scree Shrubbery with the Rosyblooms in full beauty and Tulips and Daffodils. Cheerfulness with borders of dwarf Iris most arrestingly beautiful. Sitting on the seat at the foot of the Scree looking up through all the exquisite pink blossoms perfectly enchanting. The same can be said of looking towards the High Bank from the Rock Garden and in fact everywhere and with the graceful white curving flower covered branches of Spirea Argula the pictures are for long remembrance."
